INCLUSIVE INSURANCES

As an employer Green Lantern 35 has a legal responsible for the health and safety of contractors and freelancers while they are at work or client site. As part of our service we provide Employers’ Liability and Public Liability. There is no extra charge for these insurances. We also provide automatic Professional Indemnity insurance for some industry sectors. Please call us to find out if we provide Professional Indemnity for your industry.

 
Employers' liability - Employers' liability compulsory insurance (ELCI) enables businesses to meet the costs of compensation and legal fees for employees who are injured or made ill at work through the fault of the employer. Employees injured due to an employer's negligence can seek compensation even if the business goes into liquidation or receivership. The Employers’ Liability (Compulsory Insurance) Act 1969 ensures that you have at least a minimum level of insurance cover against any such claims.
Public Liability insurance - Public Liability insurance will cover you if someone is accidentally injured by you or your business operation. It will also cover you if you damage third party property while on business. The cover should include any legal fees and expenses which result from any claim by a third party.
Professional Indemnity Insurance Most clients and recruiters will require contractors and freelancers to carry a certain level of professional indemnity insurance. This protects your business against compensation sought by a client if they believe you have made mistakes or been negligent in the execution of your work for them. This protects your business against compensation sought by a client if you have made mistakes or are found to have been negligent in some or all of the services that you provide for them. Professional indemnity insurance will also cover any legal costs.
